Terms of Use
Last updated:
These Terms of Use govern access to detoxtendon.site and the purchase of online workspace audit products offered by AlignAudit through Detoxtendon. By using the website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
"We," "us," and "our" refer to AlignAudit and Detoxtendon. "You" and "client" refer to the individual or organisation using our services. "Services" means remote workspace assessments, written reports, workshops, and related deliverables described on audit-packages.html. "Content" means text, graphics, methodologies, and templates on the website.
2. Services Description
AlignAudit provides professional opinions on workspace layout, ergonomics, lighting, acoustics, storage, and digital organisation based on information you supply. Our reports offer recommendations aligned with common UK workplace guidance. We do not provide architectural, structural, electrical, or legal advice unless explicitly agreed in writing.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least eighteen years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate booking information. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of any login credentials issued for client portals.
4. Booking and Payment
Prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling and include applicable UK VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are communicated at checkout or invoice. We may refuse or cancel bookings where fraud is suspected or capacity is unavailable. Scheduled sessions require reasonable cooperation, including timely submission of workspace media and attendance at agreed times.
5. Client Obligations
You agree to capture workspace imagery lawfully, including consent from colleagues visible in shared areas where required. You will not submit content that infringes third-party rights or contains unlawful material. You are responsible for implementing recommendations in a manner consistent with landlord rules, health and safety policies, and equipment manufacturer instructions.
6. Deliverables and Timelines
Report delivery timelines stated on product pages are targets, not guarantees, where delays arise from incomplete client inputs, connectivity failures, or events outside our reasonable control. Deliverables are provided in digital formats unless otherwise agreed. Minor formatting updates do not constitute material failure.
7. Intellectual Property
We retain ownership of methodologies, templates, and report structures. Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use your customised report internally within your organisation. You may not resell, publish, or commercially exploit our materials without written permission. You retain ownership of workspace media you submit and grant us a limited licence to process it for service delivery.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will treat non-public information received from the other as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or the information becomes public through no fault of the receiving party. Confidentiality survives termination for three years regarding trade secrets and indefinitely where required by law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. Except as required by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Outcomes such as productivity gains depend on implementation and factors beyond our control. Website content is for general information and may change without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to the foregoing, our total liability arising from any contract for audit services is limited to the fees paid for that specific booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including lost profits, except where prohibited by law.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend access to the website or services for breach of these terms, abusive conduct, or non-payment. You may cancel according to our Return Policy. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Third-Party Tools
Sessions may rely on third-party video platforms and map embeds. Your use of those tools is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in London shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights if you qualify as a consumer under UK law.
14. Changes
We may revise these Terms of Use. The date above indicates the latest version. Material changes to booked services will be communicated before they take effect on active contracts where feasible.
